Torch Boosters are quiet and can be installed right next to your jewelers' benches

What is the right Torch Booster for my shop?

If your shop uses 1, 2 or 3 torches and you don’t do any casting then

the TB-15 Torch Booster is the right system for you.

If you have up to 6 torches, or do occasional casting, then you should choose the TB-30 Torch Booster. TB-30 can supply four bench torches at the same time, or 1 casting torch, but not all of them at the same time.

If you have four torches and a casting torch in use at the same time a TB-60 Torch Booster is a better choice. Click here to see the TB-60 page.

How does a Torch Booster work?

Both systems connect to your low-pressure utility natural gas pipe and boost pressure high enough to make gas flow through a flashback arrestor check valve and give you a hot flame on the torch.

Turn the Torch Booster on in the morning and off at the end of the day  and that is all you need to do. Torch Boosters automatically supply the right amount of natural gas - you don’t need to adjust it during the day.

Torch Boosters are quiet and can be installed right next to your jewelers’

Benches.

They boost utility natural gas to 25 psi, then you use a regulator to lower pressure to between 3 and 7 psi, which is the recommended pressure for most bench torches. Some jewelers prefer higher gas pressure for casting.

How big is a Torch Booster?

TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters are compact; 12 “ wide, 12” tall and 16” deep. They weigh about 50 lbs.

TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters use 120V 15 amp

electrical power.

Both Torch Boosters require a 1/2” utility natural gas

supply pipe.
